Raffle Terms & Conditions

 

  1. The Rye Lions Boat Raffle is for a single prize of a new Savage 515 Bluewater Aluminium half cabin with all standard features fitted with a Mercury 90hp 4 stroke outboard motor.  The new boat is supplied with a quality steel trailer and the package includes:  Registration of both boat and trailer (Vic), top bimini, storm cover, under floor fuel tank, carpeted floor, safety equipment and many other features as per manufacturers specifications.  Retail value of package $45,000.   2. The raffle is conducted by Lions Club of Rye (Inc) PO Box 201, Rye Victoria 3941 (ABN 98 409 662 468) under license issued by the Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation.  Victorian Raffle Permit number 10283/17, Issued 29/03/2017, nominee Robert W Beard.
  3. Direct sales of raffle tickets will be conducted from September 1st 2017 and close on 26th January 2018 under regulations governing Major Lotteries as published by the Victorian Commission for Gambling.  Direct sales may be purchased from specific sites throughout the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria.
  4. Online Sales of packs of raffle tickets may be purchased from all States except Western Australian (WA) commencing 15th June 2017 and closing on 25th January 2018 .   Due to Government Regulations WA residents are not permitted to purchase tickets in the raffle and are not eligible for any prizes.  Residents in all other States are eligible to enter.  SA residents approved under Permit number M13320 issued 15/5/2017.  NSW residents approved under Permit number GOCAU/1907 issued 30/05/2017.
  5. To cover processing costs online sales are restricted to Packs of 3, 5, 12 and 25 raffle tickets.  Single raffle tickets are available from direct sales locations.  As an incentive for purchasing a pack of 12 you will receive 1 bonus raffle ticket or if you purchase 25 raffle tickets you will receive 2 bonus raffle tickets.
  6. Allocated raffle ticket numbers will be forwarded to online purchasers, within 24 hours of purchase.   Purchaser will have the option to print details of the raffle ticket numbers allocated.
  7. 100% of all proceeds benefit local, national and international Lions supported charities.
  8. All figures displayed are in Australian Dollars and transactions are processed in Australian dollars.
  9. There are a maximum of 45,000 tickets approved for issue at a face value of $3.00 each.

  11. The draw will take place at the Lions Park Rye Beach Foreshore at approximately 6.30-7.00pm, Australia Day 26th January 2018.  Results will be published in the Herald Sun Public Notices on 28th January 2018 plus the Internet on this web site, the Raffles Results website and the official Lions Club of Rye website (rye.vic.lions.org.au) on the 28th January 2018
  12. In the event of a prize no longer being available at the conclusion of the lottery the prize winner shall be offered an alternative prize.
  13. All unsold, lost and unaccounted tickets are removed from the draw and therefore ineligible to win prizes.
  14. The prize winner shall be notified within 7 days of the draw via nominated phone/email or postal address and advised of claiming and collection of prizes. Prize will be available for collection from Nautical Marine, 139-141 Hotham Road, Sorrento VIC 3941 at a mutually agreeable time, within 28 days of the draw.  Where this is not reasonably possible we will make alternative arrangements with the prize winner for the collection of their prize.
  15. Prizes are strictly as advertised and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  16. REFUND POLICY – There will be no refund or exchange on any ticket purchased in the raffle.
  17. Unclaimed prizes shall be retained for a period of 12 months after which they shall be disposed of in consultation with the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation.
